London Corporate Partner Christopher Field Named to The Lawyer’s Hot 100

Dechert corporate partner Christopher Field has been named to The Lawyer’s “Hot 100”, an annual listing of individual lawyers described by the publication as “the most daring, innovative and creative” in the UK. Honorees are selected for making a significant contribution to the profession in the previous year.
Mr. Field represented clients in a number of major domestic and international private equity and corporate deals in 2019. He represented Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC in the pending sale of Refinitiv to the London Stock Exchange Group. With an enterprise value of US$27 billion, the transaction ranks as one of the two largest private equity exits of 2019 globally.
In other notable matters, Mr. Field represented AGC Equity Partners on its sale of 25 Canada Square (Citi Tower, Canary Wharf) and acted for Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of Croatia’s Mlinar, the largest bakery retail network in southeast Europe. He also advised Further Global Capital Management in its take-private of The Global Benefits Group, a provider of international benefits insurance globally across 120 jurisdictions.
Mr. Field, who joined Dechert in September 2017, previously led two major multi-jurisdictional disposals for long-term client Sun Capital.
