Dechert Advises Microblink on US$60 Million Minority Investment by Silversmith Capital Partners

Dechert LLP acted as international counsel to Microblink, a global leader in AI-powered computer vision software, in connection with its reorganisation and a US$60 million minority investment by Silversmith Capital, a Boston based growth equity firm. The investment marks the first time Microblink has raised outside capital since its founding seven years ago.
The cross-border Dechert team advising Microblink was led by London corporate partner Doug Getter and included corporate senior associate Ivo Čavrak (London), counsel James Stonehill (London), associate Guilherme Smolarek de Barros (London/New York), tax partner Joshua Milgrim (New York) and associate Andy Lau (Philadelphia).
