Dechert LLP has advised Alameda Healthcare Group, one of the leading healthcare service providers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, on its definitive agreement to sell 100% of Alameda Healthcare Group’s assets in Egypt to Cleopatra Hospital Group S.A.E.(CHG). The deal is expected to complete during the first half of 2021.
The transaction is one of the most significant healthcare transactions in the region in the last few years, and Dechert’s representation of Alameda Group continues to cement Dechert’s expertise and experience as a leader in the healthcare and life sciences sector in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The Dechert team advising Dr. Fahad Khater was led by Dubai-based corporate partner Philip Dowsett, and included Chris Sioufi, Chris Field, Eduardo Silva Romero, Katrina Morrison and Jago Chanter.
