Dechert Advises Quest Diagnostics

Dechert is advising Quest Diagnostics, the leading provider of diagnostic information services, in its acquisition of the outreach laboratory services business of Mercy, one of the nation's most highly integrated, multi-state health care systems. The aim of the transaction is to broaden access to innovative, quality and cost-effective laboratory services to deliver affordable patient care throughout the Midwest. The transaction was announced on March 8, 2021, and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
