Dechert advises GIC on £6.7 billion Fortress-led bid for Morrisons
Dechert is advising GIC as part of the investment group led by Fortress in the £6.7 billion all cash offer for WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC.
The team is led by partners Chris Field and Mark Evans with support from associate Tom Clarke and trainee solicitor James Hutchens.
GIC, via its nominated investment vehicle, Cambourne Life Investment Pte Ltd, joins as an additional co-investor, alongside CPP Investments and KREI, and will provide financing in respect of the Fortress Offer.
