Dechert Advises Lenders on the restructuring of the Existing Financing of Sequana Tower Acquisition
Dechert advised a consortium of banks, acting as lenders, on the restructuring of the existing financing in the context of the acquisition of Sequana Tower, Accor's headquarters, by British fund Valesco.
Valesco has acquired the €460 million Sequana Tower from Accor, a leading European hotel group. Accor has entered into a long-term lease and maintains an existing shareholder loan. This transaction is the first carried out by Valesco's new fully discretionary fund, anchored in sovereign capital.
Dechert’s team included finance and real estate partner Privat Vigand, as well as associates Chloé Lebret, Alessia Longo and Carla Skaineh.
