Senate and House Resolutions Seek to Block CFPB Prepaid Accounts Rule; CFPB Proposes to Delay Effective Date of Rule

Members of Congress are seeking to use the Congressional Review Act to block the CFPB’s Prepaid Accounts Rule. At the same time the CFPB is now proposing to delay the effective date of Rule by six months to provide industry participants additional time to achieve compliance.
