The European FDI Regulation: What You Need to Know

The EU Foreign Direct Investment Regulation (EU FDI Regulation) will be in full force from 11 October of this year. We expect it will radically alter the dynamics of foreign investment review in Europe.

This report will detail what the new regulation does, and what you need to know. Over the next few months we will publish further comment on investment controls in the EU and its Member States, many of which have introduced new restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will consider also developments in the U.S., where the CFIUS regime is operating with renewed vigour, and in other countries across the globe.
