Arwa A. Abdelmoula

Arwa Abdelmoula focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance, with a particular emphasis on repurchase facilities and warehouse financings for major financial institutions. She advises lenders on complex and innovative structures such as static pool facilities, single-asset facilities, loan-on-loan financings and multi-currency cross-border transactions secured by non-US real property. Her experience includes facilities financing performing, non-performing and distressed assets, as well as real estate owned (REO) assets and intracompany loans post-foreclosure. Ms. Abdelmoula also has significant experience representing lenders and borrowers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by a wide variety of real estate asset types, including office, industrial, multifamily, single-family rental, hospitality and retail properties.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Abdelmoula was a real estate finance attorney in the New York office of another international law firm.

Ms. Abdelmoula is an active member of the CRE Finance Council (CREFC), including its Women's Network. She chairs the Philadelphia Diverse Associates Committee and serves on the Philadelphia Hiring Committee.
