Ross Allardice's focus on financial sponsor matters means he sees a large number of transactions across the European private equity, portfolio and restructuring space.

He is heavily involved with every phase of a transaction and has an excellent understanding of current market terms in the financial sponsor market. He represents parties across multiple industry sectors.

In Chambers UK, 2021, 2019 and 2018, he is ranked for private equity buyouts where market sources commend his "balanced and commercial approach," describing him as "proactive, results driven and solution-oriented" as well as, "extremely smart and enjoyable to work with." Mr. Allardice is listed and recommended for his work involving private equity transactions - high value deals, and life sciences and healthcare, in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 UK. The IFLR1000 2021 also lists him as ‘highly regarded’ for private equity and M&A.

Prior to joining Dechert, he was a founding partner in the European private equity practice of White & Case LLP.
