Edwin Batista

Edwin Batista is an associate in Dechert’s Boston office. He is a member of the financial services and investment management group. He draws on in-house experience with global asset management companies to advise clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues.

Mr. Batista focuses his practice on advising registered investment companies on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. He has experience reviewing and drafting registration statements, shareholder reports, and other regulatory documentation related to the development of new funds, fund reorganizations, and the ongoing operations of registered funds.
