Sonia A. Badyal

Sonia A. Badyal is an associate in Dechert’s litigation group. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes before federal and state courts and in matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice.

Ms. Badyal maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on criminal justice reform and prisoners’ rights litigation.

Ms. Badyal earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as an Associate Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review. She also interned for the Honorable William J. Martini on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
