Kristina D’Angelo

Kristina D’Angelo represents clients in intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademark counseling, prosecution and enforcement. She has extensive experience handling trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, including disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. D’Angelo has worked with clients to build and protect their brands both domestically and internationally across industries such as sports, entertainment, publishing, fashion, cosmetics, financial services, insurance and software.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. D’Angelo was an associate at a mid-size law firm in its trademark and brand management group. During law school, she earned the Intellectual Property, Media and Information Law Certificate with Distinction and was a member of the Brooklyn Law School Moot Court Honor Society, Appellate Division, where she served as vice president of the Appellate Division. Her advocacy and scholarship were recognized with the Moot Court Honor Society Award, the Samuel Witte Prize in Literature and the Law, and the CALI Awards in Legal Writing I, Legal Writing II and Trade Secrets Law and Practice. She was also the recipient of the Carswell Scholarship, Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Humphreys Family Opportunity Prize, and she interned with a magistrate judge in the Southern District of New York.

Ms. D’Angelo is a member of the International Trademark Association and has most recently served on its Non-Traditional Marks Committee.
