Aimal Faayez focuses his practice on global tax matters.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Faayez interned with the World Bank in Washington D.C. and practiced law with a leading local law firm in Afghanistan. Mr. Faayez is admitted in New York and North Carolina only, his practice is supervised by principals of the firm who are members of the DC Bar.
- International Refugee Assistance Project – While practicing law in Afghanistan, Mr. Faayez provided pro bono legal services to the U.S. government local interpreters in Afghanistan who applied for Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) to relocate to the U.S.
