Carlos (Charlie) Figueroa is an associate in Dechert’s labor and employment group, where he concentrates his practice on labor and employment litigation and counseling. His experience includes defending discrimination, harassment and breach of contract claims, including matters involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants and breaches of fiduciary duty in court, mediation and arbitration.
Mr. Figueroa also advises on non-litigation matters, including internal investigations and labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Figueroa was a New York-based litigation associate at another international law firm, where he handled complex civil litigation and investigations across various industries. Mr. Figueroa received his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality. He also earned an A.B. in Performance Studies from Brown University. Before law school, Mr. Figueroa worked as a death investigator in Florida.
