Julia Fitzgerald

Julia Fitzgerald is an associate in Dechert’s Securities and Complex Litigation group, where she focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters.  She litigates in state and federal court in both trial and appellate proceedings, and she has assisted clients in internal investigations.

Ms. Fitzgerald’s experience includes representing corporations, directors, and officers in litigation involving derivative claims, board mismanagement, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and labor and employment disputes.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Fitzgerald clerked for the Honorable John R. Padova in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Fitzgerald was a summer associate at Dechert before graduating from law school.
