Timothy Goh has significant experience working on large complex cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, private equity, joint ventures, equity-linked instruments and fund establishment transactions. Mr. Goh has worked in the Middle East and South East Asia for multinational companies, private equity, venture capitals, alternative investment and sovereign funds and state-owned companies.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Goh practiced at other international law firms in Singapore and Bahrain.

  • A global private equity firm on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of specialty chemicals distribution companies based in Malaysia.
  • A global private equity firm on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of an air freight service provider as a bolt on acquisition for a transportation and logistics services company.
  • An alternative asset management firm in two rounds of investments into a water desalinization company whose primary business is developing energy recovery technology and development and operation of water production assets.
