Anita Hodea advises on a range of intellectual property and data protection matters.

Ms. Hodea assists with both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters. This includes trade mark opposition and cancellation actions before the EU Intellectual Property Office and the UK Intellectual Property Office, IP licensing, and intellectual property aspects in M&A and PE transactions.

Ms. Hodea also provides assistance on data protection compliance projects and in negotiating data protection provisions in agreements.

She has worked with clients across a broad range of sectors, including private equity, financial services, luxury goods, healthcare and life sciences, and information technology.

Ms. Hodea trained at Dechert and was admitted as a solicitor in 2022. During her training contract, she spent six months on a secondment with an international financial services client. Alongside her work at Dechert, Ms. Hodea completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Oxford in 2023.
