Cornelius Haggerty

Neil Haggerty is an associate in Dechert’s financial services and investment management group. Mr. Haggerty focuses his practice on advising registered investment companies, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds and their boards of directors/trustees on various regulatory, compliance and business matters. Mr. Haggerty is also a member of the firm’s global derivatives and structured products practice. He works with U.S. and non-U.S. investment managers and other financial institutions engaging in a range of derivatives and other transactions.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Haggerty held legal internships at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Before practicing law, Mr. Haggerty spent several years as a reporter covering financial services policy for trade publications in Washington, D.C.
