Emily H. Harris focuses her practice on representing U.S. and international accounting firms and professionals, as well as issuers, in a broad range of matters, including litigation in federal and state courts; arbitration proceedings; regulatory inquiries and investigations; enforcement proceedings; and appeals.

Ms. Harris also conducts internal investigations and counsels corporate and individual clients on regulatory and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Harris practiced at two international firms. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Susan L. Carney of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and to the Honorable William F. Kuntz of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

  • Represented a multinational beverage corporation in consumer class actions over product labeling and advertising.*
  • Advised consumer products companies and a major chocolate manufacturer regarding potential false advertising claims.*
  • Advised a prominent art gallery as well as individual collectors regarding import regulations and compliance with anti-money laundering laws and sanctions programs promulgated by Office of Foreign Asset Control.*
  • Represented a global infrastructure firm in environmental and complex commercial litigation matters.*
  • Advised leading daily fantasy sports and sports-betting provider in compliance and litigation matters.*
