Simon Hudd

Simon Hudd is counsel in Dechert's financial services and investment management group where he focuses his practice on the structuring and establishment of investment funds across a range of asset classes, including DIFC and ADGM funds and key onshore and offshore jurisdictions.

Mr. Hudd also advises on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, joint ventures, banking and finance and corporate governance.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Hudd was a partner at a boutique law firm in the UAE where he headed the investment funds practice. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hudd was a partner at a leading international financial centre firm where he advised on the laws of the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
