Hunter D. Imlay, Ph.D.

Hunter D. Imlay, Ph.D., is a registered patent agent in the patent counseling and prosecution practice of Dechert’s intellectual property group. Dr. Imlay assists clients with patent application drafting and prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses and transactional intellectual property due diligence.

Prior to joining Dechert, Dr. Imlay was a patent agent and science advisor in patent prosecution at a global law firm. Dr. Imlay’s doctoral research focused on the design and total synthesis of natural product cancer drug candidates.
