Antonios (Tony) G. Koulotouros focuses his practice on complex commercial and securities litigation, representing clients in high-stakes disputes and white collar matters.
Mr. Koulotouros counsels leading accounting firms and accountants in all types of civil litigations and arbitrations. He also advises individuals and companies across numerous industries in criminal and regulatory investigations, including those conducted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
Before joining Dechert, Mr. Koulotouros served as a partner at another leading international law firm. While in law school, he served as a Law Fellow and as a final editor of The Tax Lawyer.
- Secured favorable award on behalf of a leading accounting firm in connection with an arbitration involving damages claims totaling US$1 billion.*

- Successfully represented private company in connection with parallel government investigations into former CEO’s illicit and fraudulent conduct.*
- Obtained dismissal of Securities Act and Exchange Act claims filed in federal court against a global pest control company and its former executives, with the victory affirmed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.*
- Successfully represented an issuer in connection with a government investigation into the issuer’s handling of damage claims and litigation reserves.*
- Successfully represented an electric vehicle company in connection with defamatory statements published on two social media petition platforms.*
- Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of a leading accounting firm in connection with an arbitration involving professional negligence and breach of contract claims.*
- Procured no-action letters on behalf of a cryptocurrency exchange seeking to secure money transmission licenses across numerous juridictions.*
- Obtained favorable settlements on behalf of a prominent venture capital firm in state court proceedings related to the firm’s investment in a portfolio company.*
- Represented several investment managers, funds and officers in connection with regulatory investigations into trading activities.*
- Represented a prominent venture capital firm in a bankruptcy adversary proceeding related to the firm’s investment in a portfolio company.*
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a publishing company, dismissing counterclaims for fraudulent inducement and permanently enjoining efforts to terminate the company’s lease.*
