C. Daniel Lockaby

Daniel Lockaby is an associate in the Corporate and Securities team in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Lockaby focuses his practice on corporate governance, strategic transactions and business litigation. He advises clients on incorporation, fiduciary duties, board and committee processes, governance documents, stockholder rights, mergers and acquisitions, books-and-records demands, advancement and indemnification, merger-related disputes and contractual issues. His representations cover a wide range of industries, including software and technology, consumer brands and products, food products, energy, healthcare and professional services, among others.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Lockaby served the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court as a judicial clerk for now-Third Circuit Judge Tamika Montgomery-Reeves, where he worked on corporate governance disputes, fiduciary duty claims, contractual interpretation and requests for equitable relief.
