Daniel Latella’s practice encompasses a broad range of real estate finance matters. Mr. Latella represents borrowers and lenders on single-family rental finance transactions, including the origination and securitization of single-family rental loans and warehouse facilities. He also counsels lenders in connection with financings secured by commercial real estate properties, including office buildings, data centers, multifamily, retail, and hotels.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Latella worked as an associate in the real estate practice group of another international law firm.
- A private equity borrower in connection with a $1.1 billion warehouse facility from a syndicated of lenders, secured by a portfolio of build-to-rent single family homes.
- A syndicate of lenders in the origination and subsequent syndication of a $6.695 billion mortgage loan facility secured by 20 data center assets across the United States in connection with the take private of a large data center operator.
- A private equity borrower in connection with a $778.5 million securitization consisting entirely of build-to-rent single family homes, which was a first of its kind securitization.
- A consortium of lenders in connection with mortgage loan facilities aggregating $12 billion, secured by data center assets across the United States and Europe in connection with the take private of a large data center operator.
- A global bank, as lender, in connection with the refinancing and origination of a $262 million mortgage loan secured by a hotel property located in Manhattan, New York.
