Practice Areas

Edward P. Lemanowicz focuses his practice on federal tax law, particularly with respect to the foreign activities of domestic corporations and the federal taxation of foreign corporations.

Mr. Lemanowicz also concentrates on structuring, negotiating, and executing taxable and tax-free transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, divestitures, liquidations and private equity transactions.

Mr. Lemanowicz has been recognized as a leading tax lawyer in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA, which recently lauded him as being "smart, practical and efficient across the board," as well as "very strong” on international tax matters and reorganizations. In addition, he has been highlighted as a leading tax lawyer by The Legal 500 U.S., which noted that he is “a very knowledgeable international tax attorney whose help on several complex international M&A transactions was invaluable.”
