Abby Morenigbade

Abby Morenigbade is an associate in Dechert’s financial services group. Ms. Morenigbade focuses her practice on advising registered investment companies, including mutual funds and exchange traded funds on a variety of regulatory, compliance and business matters.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Morenigbade was an honors intern at the New City Law Department and a legal intern at Winrock International. She also worked as a student attorney in Georgetown’s Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic. While attending Georgetown she was the Community Service Chair of the Black Law Student Association, and a Senior Editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Journal.

Prior to starting her legal career, Ms. Morenigbade worked with nonprofits in Kampala and New York City with the goal of empowering underserved students on their journeys to attaining higher education. Ms. Morenigbade remains committed to advancing the educational priorities of underserved students through her pro bono practice at Dechert.
