Jeff Mackey, Head of Investment Funds (Dublin), focuses his practice on the establishment and authorization of investment funds, including alternative investment funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and European undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS). Mr. Mackey regularly represents Irish based fund service providers and many financial institutions that conduct business in Ireland, including investment managers and promoters engaged in credit funds, equity funds, fixed income funds, hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds. He also acts for UCITS management companies, alternative investment fund managers and investment firms.
Mr. Mackey has significant experience advising clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters in the financial services sector. In addition, he counsels clients on the registration of investment funds in Asia and Europe.
Mr. Mackey is a frequent contributor to investment fund publications and is a regular speaker at industry events.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Mackey was with a leading Irish firm in Dublin.
