Mark Meredith

Mark Meredith represents major financial institutions, private equity firms and portfolio companies, accounting and healthcare entities, and premier fashion houses in complex employment litigation, corporate governance issues, trade secret disputes and class actions. He litigates in state and federal courts throughout the United States, with particular focus on trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty, non-compete enforcement and class actions involving wage and hour claims, discrimination and WARN Act compliance.

Beyond litigation, Mr. Meredith counsels executives and corporations on employment contracts, separation agreements, internal investigations and nondisclosure agreements with an emphasis on litigation prevention. He previously served as a litigation partner at a New England law firm, and as general counsel for a litigation consulting company, where he managed diverse legal matters including employment-related disputes. He has also served as adjunct professor teaching New York Civil Procedure and Practice at Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island.

After graduating from Columbia Law School, where he was senior editor and treasurer for the Columbia Law Review, Mr. Meredith clerked for U.S. District Judge Frederic Block of the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, he worked as a professional actor focusing largely on musical theatre, is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, and appeared in theaters in New York, Los Angeles and throughout the country.
