Thibault Meiers focuses his practice on labor and employment matters, with extensive experience representing employers for employment litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Meiers regularly acts before French civil and administrative courts in multi-plaintiff lawsuits, notably in restructuring processes or after plant closings and mass layoffs, and in litigations involving unions or other employee representative bodies including: employee representatives’ elections or appointments, resort to external expert advisors by the in-house works council or health and safety committee, strikes, suspension of restructuring process, or employee representatives’ discrimination and harassment claims.

Mr. Meiers advises French companies and foreign groups located on French territory on a daily basis on both individual and collective employment relations as well, in order to minimize their litigation exposure and help them to cope with the rise in administrative regulation of the workplace.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Meiers served as a labor and employment associate in a French law firm. His previous experience also includes working as an associate in the employment group of another international law firm.
