Adorah Nworah is an associate in Dechert’s global finance and real estate group where she focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance matters, including the origination, acquisition, syndication and disposition of mortgage loans, mezzanine financings and subordinate debt.
Ms. Nworah represents investment banks, commercial banks and institutional investors in mortgage and mezzanine loan originations secured by a wide variety of commercial real estate properties, including office buildings, hotels, industrial, multifamily and retail properties, as well as in loan modifications and restructurings.
- A U.S. bank on the origination of a US$475 million mortgage loan secured by 43 commercial properties across 15 states, and an US$85 million mezzanine loan secured by equity interests in the mortgage borrowers.
- An investment bank on the origination of a US$330 million mortgage loan secured by a super-regional mall in Durham, North Carolina.
- A real estate investment firm on its purchase of a US$45 million mezzanine loan.
- A real estate investment firm on an REO conversion of a US$48 million mortgage loan secured by commercial real estate in New York.
