Zoe Ng

Zoe Ng is an associate in Dechert’s leveraged finance team in London, focusing her practice on banking and finance with an emphasis on multi-jurisdictional acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Ms. Ng has acted for financial institutions, sponsors, and corporate borrowers on private equity-backed buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and refinancings.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Ng was an associate in the banking and finance group in the London office of an international law firm, where she advised lenders on sovereign loans and sustainable finance.

Ms. Ng also previously served in the leveraged finance group at another global law firm and spent time working in its London and Hong Kong offices.    

Asylum Seekers’ Rights – Worked with Human for Rights to successfully relocate more than twenty Wethersfield asylum seekers by preparing and issuing pre-action protocol letters addressed to the Home Office.

Women’s Rights – Regularly work on pro bono projects with a focus on championing women’s rights, including assisting the World Bank with their Women, Business and the Law project, and creating a comparative state practice handbook on women’s participation in constitutional development and public consultations in South Sudan for the Public International Law & Policy Group.

Human Rights – Participated in a Human Rights and Business Global Brigade in Panama, conducted community-wide pro bono legal clinics, provided individual case support to local Panamanian lawyers, and held legal accessibility workshops.
