Shweta Rao

Shweta Rao is an associate in Dechert’s intellectual property litigation group, where she focuses her practice on patent and trade secret disputes. She represents pharmaceutical and technology companies in federal district courts and has experience across all phases of litigation, including pretrial, trial and post-trial proceedings. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Ms. Rao also maintains an active pro bono practice. Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Rao was an intellectual property litigation associate at an international law firm.
