Charles Sauvage, collaborateur au sein de l’équipe droit de la concurrence du bureau de Paris, assiste les clients sur tous les aspects liés aux enquêtes et contentieux de pratiques anticoncurrentielles devant les autorités de concurrence françaises ou européennes, ainsi qu’en matière de conseil et conformité et de contrôle des concentrations.
Avant de rejoindre Dechert, Charles Sauvage a été collaborateur pendant 5 ans dans un autre cabinet d’avocats international à Bruxelles.
Antitrust investigations
- Assisted in representing a national incumbent energy producer in an Article 102 TFEU abuse of dominance investigation before the EU Commission.
Competition counseling and compliance
- Provided compliance advice to a UK-based, global trade association in the home entertainment sector representing all leading global studios and major retailers active in the industry.
- Provided EU/CMA block exemption regulations advice to several shipping lines, assisting them in their Article 101(3) TFEU self-assessments of consortia, vessel sharing and slot charter agreements.
Merger control
- Advised an Indian group primarily active in the automotive sector as a manufacturer of parts for OEMs and in assembly, in its global expansion and diversification strategy, assisting with several filings before the EU Commission and national competition authorities.
- Advised US defense company Curtiss-Wright in its acquisition of the aircraft ground-braking systems business unit of French group Safran through a transfer of assets.
- Advised a European supplier of savory snacks in relation to a strategic acquisition of a competitor in the UK.

- Brussels Helpdesk for asylum seekers – Regularly took shifts at the helpdesk to assist asylum seekers in their Dublin procedure before theBelgian immigration office and their actions before Belgian courts to secure urgent accommodation in shelters.
