Lydia Lichlyter Speight

Lydia Lichlyter Speight is an associate in Dechert’s Boston office and is a member of the cyber, privacy and AI practice.

Ms. Speight’s practice focuses on cybersecurity, data breach response, litigation and investigations and regulatory compliance matters. She has experience counseling clients on a variety of state and federal laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state privacy laws, Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act), Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) and a variety of data breach notification statutes.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Speight was a computer crime prosecutor with the Department of Justice and an associate in the DC office of another international law firm. Ms. Speight is admitted in the District of Columbia only; she is not admitted in Massachusetts.
