Michael J. Sheehan

Michael J. Sheehan is a nationally recognized employment litigator who focuses on unfair competition and employee mobility disputes, including large-scale raiding, trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty and noncompete agreements.

With extensive courtroom experience spanning dozens of jury trials across the United States, Mr. Sheehan serves as lead counsel defending private and public companies against claims involving age, gender, race, retaliation, sexual harassment and raiding cases. 

Mr. Sheehan routinely provides strategic counseling to private equity and public company clients on executive transitions, negotiating the onboarding and departures of CEOs and other C-suite executives and is often a trusted adviser to the C-suite.  

Mr. Sheehan previously served as global head of the employment practice at two international law firms.
