Paul S. Stevens Jr. focuses his practice on investment funds (registered and unregistered), their boards and independent directors, and U.S. registered investment advisers.

Mr. Stevens has significant experience advising business development companies (BDCs), closed-end funds, and private credit managers. He advises funds and managers on the full range of corporate and regulatory issues under the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act. He also regularly represents fund sponsors in merger and acquisition transactions in the financial services industry.
