Allison Kent Trumbull

Ms. Trumbull is counsel in Dechert’s Boston office. She is a member of the financial services and investment management group and a leader on the global distribution of funds team. Her practice focuses on advising U.S. banks, asset managers and investment funds on the cross-border provision of financial services and global distribution of investment products.

Ms. Trumbull has over 15 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Dechert, she was head of U.S. Legal and Compliance responsible for all U.S. legal and regulatory matters at Arabesque Group, a start-up group of financial technology companies offering sustainable investment, advisory, and data services globally. Prior to that, Ms. Trumbull served as counsel at BrightSphere Investment Group where she supported the advisory business on global expansion and distribution initiatives. Prior to BrightSphere, Ms. Trumbull was counsel at State Street Global Advisors where she served as the firm's subject matter expert on global distribution and cross-border activities. She advised the global SPDR business on EU regulatory developments, such as AIFMD, GDPR and the EU Benchmark Rule, as well as cross-border private marketing and cross-listed offerings throughout North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific. 

Ms. Trumbull began her legal career with Dechert in 2011, after several years with State Street supporting the asset management institutional sales business.
