Diana Tao focuses her practice on financial services, with an emphasis on private funds and U.S. registered investment companies, including mutual funds, business development companies and closed-end funds. She advises clients on the formation, structuring, marketing and operation of private investment funds (private equity, hedge, venture and other types of private funds), and similar structures and vehicles across a broad range of investment strategies including growth, real estate, distressed debt, special opportunities and buyout. She also advises her clients on regulatory and compliance matters under applicable U.S. securities laws.
Ms. Tao is currently on a client secondment.
