The Dechert Family Network fosters a supportive community for parents, caregivers and colleagues navigating family responsibilities. The Network provides opportunities to share information and resources, connect with colleagues and participate in programs designed to support work and caregiving responsibilities. It also offers perspectives to firm leadership on policies and initiatives affecting parents and caregivers.
The Dechert Family Network’s programming has included informational workshops with Carrot Fertility and Bright Horizons on the firm’s family planning, child care and elder care offerings, as well as sessions with professionals specializing in early childhood development and neurodivergence. The Family Network has also teamed up with firm clients on charitable events, including assembling teddy bear kits for donation to organizations supporting children in need, and offered sessions on financial planning and related matters.
As part of Diversity and Inclusion Week, the Network launched an initiative to curate a list of children’s books celebrating diversity, inclusion and unity.
