Dechert Heroes, the firm’s veteran affinity group, supports Dechert veterans as well as Dechert lawyers and employees with families in the military. The group also provides pro bono representation, helping with issues ranging from disability benefits to discharge upgrades.
Dechert Heroes initiates events in support and celebration of past and present service members. In honor of 2024’s Veterans Day, Dechert Heroes welcomed Medal of Honor recipient, Retired U.S. Army Captain Florent Groberg. Capt. Groberg captivated the audience with his inspiring story of courage, resilience, and leadership, recounting how he was severely injured while thwarting a suicide bomber.
