Dechert Advises B&G Foods on Acquisition of Farmwise

Dechert advised B&G Foods, Inc. in its acquisition of Farmwise LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
B&G Foods and its subsidiaries manufacture, sell and distribute high-quality, branded shelf-stable and frozen foods across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Farmwise was founded with a mission of developing healthier alternatives to some of America’s favorite foods without compromising on taste.
The Dechert team advising B&G Foods was led by corporate partner Michael Darby, and included corporate partners Stephen Leitzell and Sarah Gelb, and corporate associates Sean Herron and Collen Mallick. The deal team also included global tax partner Edward Lemanowicz and associate George Davis.
