Dechert Achieves Mansfield Plus Certification for Diversity and Inclusion
Dechert LLP has achieved Mansfield Plus 2020 Certification for the second year in a row after completing the Mansfield Rule 3.0 twelve-month certification program, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to furthering diversity and inclusion. Launched by Diversity Lab in 2017, an incubator focused on diversity and inclusion issues in the legal industry, the certification aims to boost representation of diverse lawyers in leadership positions by enhancing the pool of candidates considered for these opportunities.
This year’s certification confirms that Dechert has affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, lawyers of color and LGBTQ+ lawyers for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and lateral positions. In addition, Dechert achieved Mansfield “Plus” status, which means that the firm reached 30% diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of current leadership roles and committees.

Dechert has signed on to participate in Diversity Lab’s Mansfield 2021 Certification, which runs from July 2020 to July 2021.
