The Deal Recognizes Two Corporate Lawyers as 2021 Rising Stars

Two Dechert LLP corporate partners were recognized for their transactional expertise by The Deal in its Top Rising Stars: Class of 2021. Those named to the list were:

Sarah Kupferman, a partner in the Corporate & Securities group in New York, who counsels private equity and strategic clients on a wide range of domestic and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, large and middle market financing transactions, formation of domestic and offshore investment entities and general corporate advice across a variety of industries. Ms. Kupferman was recently named an Associate to Watch in New York for Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA and was also named a Rising Star by Legal 500 (U.S.) in the Private Equity Buyouts space.

Allie Misner Wasserman, a partner in the Corporate & Securities group in Philadelphia, represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as strategic buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions across a wide range of industry sectors. She also has experience representing companies and investment banks in domestic and cross-border securities offerings of equity and debt. Ms. Wasserman currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a past co-chair of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
