Seramount Names Dechert to its 2021 Inclusion Index

Dechert LLP has been named by Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media) to its 2021 Inclusion Index in recognition of the firm’s success in creating an inclusive workplace.

The Seramount Inclusion Index helps organizations understand trends and gaps in demographic representation, creates a road map to drive internal change, and identifies diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) solutions to close the gaps.

Organizations are measured in three key areas: best practices in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of people from historically underrepresented groups—women, racial/ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ people; inclusive corporate culture, including leadership accountability; and demographic diversity for women and racial/ethnic minorities. This year, questions on how organizations are addressing racism were included in the survey.

Earlier, Dechert was named to Seramount’s 2021 list of “Best Companies for Multicultural Women”. The firm also earned a number of Seramount accolades in 2020, being named to the company’s lists for “Top Companies for Executive Women”, “100 Best Companies”, “Best Law Firms for Women” and “Best Companies for Dads.”
