National Law Journal Honors Dechert for ESG, Pro Bono and Litigation Success

Dechert has been recognized twice by the National Law Journal in its annual Legal Awards 2022, which were established to honor those law firms and lawyers who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in the past year.

Washington D.C.-based litigator Amisha R. Patel was named a “D.C. Rising Star” for professional and pro bono success and for demonstrating leadership. Ms. Patel focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, class action defense, and white collar investigations, and has represented high-profile clients in state and federal courts, and before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and foreign competition authorities. Ms. Patel regularly advises on litigation strategy, effective case management, and outside-the-box resolutions. She was named a 2020 Americas Rising Star for Litigation by Euromoney/Legal Media Group and has received multiple honors for her diversity efforts and pro bono work.

Dechert itself was named an “ESG and Community Impact Leader” for legal leadership in the ESG space, underscored by sustained success in ESG-focused billable and pro bono work, and for the exceptional social impacts created by the firm’s wider pro bono efforts.
