Dechert Maintains Mansfield Plus Certification in the US and UK, Reinforcing its Dedication to DEI
Dechert has achieved Mansfield Plus Certification in the U.S. for the fifth consecutive year after completing the Mansfield Rule 5.0 twelve-month certification program. The firm has also earned the same certification in the UK for the second year in a row, having been among the original fourteen firms to partake in the inaugural Mansfield UK Pilot in 2022. Each of these recognitions underscores the firm's dedication to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within firm leadership.
Launched in 2017 by Diversity Lab, an innovation incubator focused on addressing diversity and inclusion issues in the legal industry, Mansfield Certification measures the structural changes and steps firms have taken over the past year to ensure paths to leadership including lateral hiring, client pitch teams, promotions, appointments and more are open and transparent to all lawyers.
The firm’s “Plus” certification confirms that Dechert has not only taken steps to increase inclusivity in leadership, it has also made measured progress in doing so.
Dechert will continue to participate in Diversity Lab’s Mansfield 2024 Certifications in the U.S. and in the UK from July 2023 to July 2024.
