Law360 Honors Dechert’s John Timperio as MVP of the Year for Structured Finance

John Timperio, co-chair of Dechert’s global finance practice and real estate practice group, has been recognized by leading legal publication Law360 as an “MVP of the Year” for Structured Finance.
Each year, the publication names just a handful of lawyers per practice area across a range of legal disciplines. Those selected as MVPs are judged to have achieved the biggest wins or made the most significant contributions to their practice areas in the past year.
Mr. Timperio is one of just three lawyers honored for Structured Finance.
A member of the firm’s Policy Committee and a leader of Dechert’s Structured Credit and CLO team, Mr. Timperio has more than 25 years’ experience working with some of the world's largest asset managers and investment banks on some of the largest and most complex transactions in the credit and structured credit markets, including ABS transactions, CLOs, CFOs, private funds, regulatory capital trades and M&A involving asset management platforms.
Ranked as a leading lawyer for securitization and CLOs by Chambers USA and as a recommended lawyer for Structured Finance by The Legal 500 (U.S.), Mr. Timperio was also recognized by Law360 as an MVP of the Year for Structured Finance in 2020.
