Euromoney Names Dechert International Firm of the Year for Diverse Women Lawyers
Dechert has been named “International Firm of the Year for Diverse Women Lawyers” by Euromoney and Legal Media Group in the European Women in Business Law Awards 2023. The awards recognize complex and innovative firm initiatives that promote women in law and leading women practitioners from over 30 practice areas.
The firm was celebrated specifically for its ongoing partnership with Aspiring Solicitors, a non-profit organization aiming to improve access to the UK legal profession.
Since Dechert began working with Aspiring Solicitors, underrepresented groups have made up over half the firm’s trainee intake in London. The firm was recently also recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal for its innovative collaboration with Aspiring Solicitors and named the “Best International Firm for Diversity” by Euromoney and Legal Media Group in its Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2021.
