Profiles in Diversity Journal Recognizes Dechert Lawyers in Double Win

Two Dechert lawyers have been recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal in awards showcasing individuals who blaze new trails in advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and who excel in their chosen fields.
Amanda Antons, an intellectual property partner, was honored with a Women Worth Watching in STEM Award, established to celebrate women leaders who break barriers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Immunology and doctoral training focusing on T cell/HIV interactions, Dr. Antons focuses her practice on patent litigation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, encompassing biologics litigation, ANDA litigation, and proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board and European Patent Office. Amisha Patel, a trial, investigations and securities litigator based in Dechert’s Boston office, was recognized with an “Asian Leadership Award,” established to honor those who through advocacy, perseverance, legacy or professional achievements have addressed diversity and inclusion in the workplace and community. Ms. Patel has received multiple honors for her professional success, diversity efforts and pro bono work. In 2022, she was named a “Rising Star” by the National Law Journal.
